Sinuo is a PhD candidate at the Australian Institute for Machine Learning (AIML). Under the supervision of A/Prof. Qi Wu and Dr. Yutong Xie, her PhD research focuses on vision-language pre-training for the medical domain. Prior to her doctoral studies, Sinuo obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (Autonomous Systems) with Honours at the University of Adelaide. She continued her academic journey at the same institution and obtained a Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in 2023. Her accomplishments include receiving the Executive Dean’s Recognition of Academic Excellence in 2022 and winning 1st place with her RoboBreizh team at the international robotics competition RoboCup@Home SSPL League held in Bordeaux, France in 2023.
